Guest seminar

Today dr. Ian Gilmore and dr. Paulina Rakowska from NPL, Teddington, UK visited our laboratories:

– AFM, FIB/SEM laboratory,
– home-made AFM/STM  laboratory,
– electrical characterization of materials laboratory.

During visit there was held a mini-seminar with presentations:

• dr. Ian Gilmore (NPL, NICE-MSI), “Towards super-resolution metabolic imaging by secondary ion mass spectrometry”,
• dr. Katarzyna Kapczyńska (IITD PAN), “MALDI-TOF-MS analysis of outer membranes proteins in Salmonella enteritidis strains with various levels of human serum susceptibility”,
• mgr inż. Karolina Orłowska (WEMiF PWr), “Metrology of the optomechanical interactions with MEMS/NEMS”,
• mgr inż. Michał Babij (WEMiF PWr), “Atmospheric pressure PlasmaJet as a soft ionization source for Mass Spectrometry”.
